La Curacao’s Community Assistance Program is a strong link to the community in which we serve. For many years La Curacao has focused its efforts on assisting children living below the poverty level.
With the strong belief that every child has the right to enjoy and live in a healthy environment, La Curacao has had the objective and the commitment to devote time and money to our unique Community Assistance Program. On a daily basis, the full time Community Relations Department is dedicated to assist directly children in need. |

| How are the children assisted? |
La Curacao’s Community Assistance Program consists on providing FREE basic home products to severely disadvantaged children that are growing up without the standard items expected in an American society. |
| Who can refer a family with need? |
| Any community organization, church, school and other entities that work with children and are familiar with their living conditions can refer a family to our La Curacao’s Community Assistance Program. |
| How is the process to assist a family? |
| When organizations refer their family cases to our Assistance Program, each will be studied case by case and each family will be visited by one of our representatives to evaluate their needs. Once the need has been assessed, we will make the delivery of the authorized products. Our expert drivers will assemble these products and they will place them wherever the family indicates them. |
| How an Organization could refer a family to the La Curacao Community Assistance Program? |
| An Organization could choose our automated procedure. This procedure will allow the organization to refer a family on line any time, any day of the week. Also, the organization will be able to keep track of the status of all its referrals in a prompt and accurate way, by just following very simple step-by-step directions. register your organization. | How an organization could follow up on a case? |
| If you choose our automated procedure, the system will assign automatically a CODE NUMBER. Keep these code numbers handy, you will need them every time you need to inquire about them. Again, you will be able to track the status any time, any day! |
| How long it will take to help a family? |
| We strive to service each family within a period of 3 days. However, the service time will be subject to the family’s residence zone, where the quantity of referrals is significant. |
