With a mix of culture, music and entertainment La Curacao opens its first store in Arizona

Phoenix, AZ – With the objective of expanding into other areas of the country and penetrate the heart of the Hispanic market, La Curacao will open its first store in Phoenix, Arizona in fall of 2007.

The new store located at Desert Sky Mall, (7815 W. Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ) in West Phoenix will have 165,000 square feet of sales floor including a warehouse on the second floor. In addition, there will be a child-care area so that parents can take their time making purchases. Their children will have the opportunity to interact with educational programs, color o watch movies. The store will also have a credit department where applying is easy, fast and secure.

In the new vibrant store, one can find a Latino ambience with bilingual signs and where associates speak Spanish. Every weekend there will be live entertainment for the whole family. La Curacao also offers specialized services for the Latino consumer. Among them, Curatel (local and long distance telephone service), LC Travel, LC Export (export services), Pasito.com (Internet service provider) y LC Money Transfer (money transferring service to Mexico, Guatemala and El Salvador).
