Pollo Campero

1625 West Olympic Blvd. Suite 1020 Los Angeles, California 90015

Pollo Campero brings the most mouthwatering chicken and well-known restaurant brand in Central America to the United States. Loosely translated, Pollo Campero means “country chicken”. Pollo Campero restaurants are known for their tender, juicy, crunchy chicken and warm, welcoming dining experience.

ADIR Restaurants Corp., a sister company to La Curacao, is the Master Franchisor for Pollo Campero in six western states. ADIR Restaurants recognized the potential for this flavorful food in the U.S. and opened the first U.S. location in Los Angeles in 2002. Central Americans who remembered the brand from home waited in line for up to seven hours for a meal of the flavorful, tender chicken. The restaurant did $1 million in sales in its first 47 days. Since then, the company has opened fourteen other Southern California locations, including one in San Bernardino, a new market area for the company. At least seven more locations will open in 2007.

Outside of company-owned and operated stores, ADIR Restaurants Corp. has begun aggressively franchising Pollo Campero throughout the western United States. As of January 2007 thirty franchise locations have been sold in Phoenix, El Centro, and Oxnard.
