In order to see more Latino students graduate from college, La Curacao along with the USC Mexican American Alumni Association (MAAA) will launch a campaign to award scholarships to Latino students who are accepted into such institution. The USC/La Curacao Academic Achievement Program’s main objective is to raise awareness among the youth on how to prepare for the college admission process.
This year seven students were selected from South Gate, Huntington Park, Manual Arts and San Bernardino High Schools.
