| The Community Assistance Program provides direct assistance to very needy children by donating basic home products. The program also assists the community by providing donations to established non-profit organizations, schools and churches as requested.

»Leticia, referred by Pediatric and Family Medical Center, is a married mother whose husband works at a factory drying fabrics. They live with
their six children using a garage as their home. The home contains a very old stove, which works occasionally, and requieres Leticia to reconnect
the gas hose every time she has to cook. The newborn baby sleeps in his car seat because he doesn't have a bed, to sleep in. His siblings sleep on mattresses lain on the floor.
They also don't have a dining table. |
