On Saturday, July 28, 2007, La Curacao Inter-league Cup 2007 was held. Forty-eight teams of young athletes that represented various cities including Pomona, Ontario, Santa Ana, Bell Gardens, South Gate, Compton, Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley, Norwalk and Montebello among others participated. Hundreds of fans including children of all ages, met at the Ford Complex Center in Bell Gardens to witness several soccer matches and root for their favorite team. One of them was La Curacao All Star versus Chivas USA under19. The media was also present. They also played amongst each other. La Opinion versus Las Aguilas 1330AM and Telemundo versus La Raza radio. The event ended with medals and awards presentation to all participating teams.
