LA CURACAO INVITES CHILDREN TO PARTICIPATE IN THE READING GARDEN

Like a good habit, La Curacao once more shows that it cares about the Latino community this time, through their program “La Alegría de Leer”, (The Joy of Reading). Every Thursday inside La Curacao stores, children can listen to their favorite stories, participate in arts & crafts and other activities in a joyful and educational atmosphere.
“It is very important for us to encourage young children to read,” said Ruth Garcia, La Curacao Marketing and Advertising Manager. “We at La Curacao are very proud of helping promote good reading habits. Reading skills help a child increase his/her attention span and that’s key to a successful school year.”
“La Alegría de Leer” is held every Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in La Curacao stores in Los Angeles, Panorama, Huntington Park, South Gate, Santa Ana, San Bernardino and Chino.
